Trekfit Adventures presents the Velas Turtle Festival 2022 for all those who wish to embark on a memorable sojourn with fellow Travelers to witness rare sea turtles at the Golden Sand Beach of Velas. Watching their bok go during mating season is one of the things many would remember from visiting Velas.
The Turtle Festival celebrates the hatching of Olive Ridley turtles as they emerge from their eggs and make their way to the ocean, marking the beginning of their life journey. Organized by local villagers in collaboration with the NGO Sahyadri Nisarg Mitra, the festival aims to promote conservation and raise awareness about these endangered turtles.

Day 0 : (Friday Night)
- 8.00 pm: Pickup from SB road
- 8.30 pm:Pickup from Xion Mall Hinjewadi
Day 1: (Saturday)
- 05:45 AM: Arrive in Velas and head directly to the Beach for the Morning hatching Session of the turtles
- 06:30 AM: Witness the Beautiful Sunrise on the Beach
- 07.00 AM: Enjoy the First Turtle Hatching Session
- 08:30 AM: Return to our stay property in the village, Get freshen up, have Breakfast, and enjoy a leisurely vibe in the village
- 11:00 AM: Visit the strategically built Himmatgad Fort which overlooks the sea and the Bankot creek.
- 01:30 PM: Lunchtime
- 03:00 PM: Explore the areas around Velas or have a rest.
- 04:00 PM: Leave towards the Beach for the Evening's second hatching session. Have a fun time at the beach, Enjoy the sunset, and come back to our stay property for Dinner.
- 08:30 PM: Have Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2: (Sunday)
- 06:00 AM: Wake up call, Get ready, and head towards the beach for the Third Hatching Session
- 07:00 AM: Enjoy the session and come back to the property, get freshen up, and Have Breakfast.
- 08:30 AM: Have breakfast and Head to Harihareshwar via the Bankot-Bagmandla Ferry boat.
- 11:00 PM: Explore Harihareshwar Temple.
- 02:00 PM: Have Lunch at Harihareshwar and continue our journey towards Pune.
- 11:00 PM: Reach Pune with loads of memories

- The bus is a non ac traveler with decent sitting comfort
2)What if do not know Swimming?
- You do not need to know swimming for any of Boat Ride
3) What kind of stays will be staying in?
- We will be staying in a homestay on Triple sharing basis
4) Is Jain food available?
- Jain food is available in the city however note that there are no pure veg restaurants on the route
