Velas Turtle Festival was created to spread awareness of Olive Ridley Turtles, one of the more endangered species. In addition, Velas hosts the festival each year to promote eco-tourism and help raise money to protect and conserve these turtles.

- 4:00 PM: Witness the magical evening turtle hatching session at the beach.
- 6:00 PM: Enjoy the stunning sunset at Velas Beach.

- 7:30 AM: Visit the historic Bankot Fort and enjoy panoramic views of the coastline.
- 12:00 PM: Take a ferry ride to Harihareshwar Temple and explore the serene surroundings.
- 2:00 PM: Relish a delicious lunch at Harihareshwar before departing for Pune/Mumbai.
