Location: The Rann of Kutch is a vast salt marsh located in the Thar Desert in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India. It is one of the largest salt deserts in the world.
Best Time to Visit: The ideal time to visit is during the winter months (October to February) when the weather is cooler and the region comes alive with various festivals and cultural events.

Location: Dholavira is an ancient archaeological site located on the Khadir island of the Rann of Kutch. It's one of the five largest Harappan sites in the Indian subcontinent.
Historical Significance: Dholavira dates back to approximately 4500 years, making it one of the most important archaeological sites of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization.

~Board your train from Pune railway station at the respective time.
Note: Incase you are booking any batch other than Thursday departure there will be a connecting train to Mumbai (Either Non ac Sleeper or AC as per availability as per time of booking) and from Mumbai we will be traveling via other Train.
Note: Train tickets will be in Confirmed or RAC (half window seat) as per seat availability at your time of booking.

- Depart from Ahmedabad the previous day in a private vehicle.
- Arrive at the Dholavira UNESCO site early in the morning and enjoy a sunrise view along the way.
- Check in at our Kutchi homestay and freshen up.
- Explore the ancient ruins of Dholavira and visit Chipper Point.
- Visit the Archaeological Museum to learn about the rich history of the site.
- Experience a magical sunset from Dholavira Sunset Point.
- End the day with a delicious dinner, accompanied by music and a bonfire (if available).

Day 3
Dholavira | Rann Utsav
Begin your day early with a journey to Dhordo village, nestled in the heart of the Rann. Spend the evening witnessing a stunning sunset over the White Desert, followed by a visit to the vibrant stalls at the Rann Utsav. Optionally, enjoy a camel ride across the salt flats as the sun sets. Relish a delightful dinner under the stars, followed by music and a bonfire, with an overnight stay at the Rann.

Day 4
Rann | Mandvi | Ahmedabad
Start early and head towards Mandvi. Visit the elegant Vijay Vilas Palace and unwind at Mandvi Beach, soaking in another magical sunset. Depart for Ahmedabad after sunset.

Back to Ahmedabad | Pune
Arrive in Ahmedabad early in the morning. Board a train back to Pune and arrive by night.

6. It is always the best thing to book your trip in advance at least 20 days prior to improve your possibility of getting a full seat on the train.
7. The seat availability of trains depends from season to season and since few routes have specific one or two trains running on the route it might get difficult to get a confirmed seat during peak festive and tourist seasons.
8. Also kindly note that our agents will get in touch with you to provide alternate options for trains where you can hold a chance of a confirmed ticket which may have some monetary difference in the ticket amount which if you confirm to upgrade shall be liable to pay.
9. Also, there might arise a chance that our predictability tool may fail and you may get a RAC seat once the chart is prepared. Kindly note that Trekfit won't be responsible for providing full seats in such a situation nor refunding any amount since it is a govt transport and not private.
10. Premium trains like Rajdhani and Duranto have a fare of 50% on the higher side than regular trains however they provide the highest confirmation probability and you can always opt for the same.
