It is located about an hour and a half’s distance from Lonavla and happens to be a popular trekking region in the southern part of India.
The Andharban Jungle Trek is located at an altitude of 2160 feet in Tamhini Ghats and the entire trek time is about 4-5 hours to cover 13 kilometers of the trail. It is a relatively ease trail so first time trekkers are also welcome.06-Jan-2020

Andarban Jungle Trek difficulty Grade is Medium, ideal for beginners. Andharban dark forest trek’s Base village is Pimpri at Tamhini Ghat.
Andharban Jungle Trek, by its name, means a dark dense forest. It is a gradual descend trek, where you are already on height and you will descend till the end. It is one of the most beautiful treks and has lots of things to explore. We will be walking on a ridge offering an awesome view of the Kundalika Valley, Bhira dam, and the mountain ranges of Tamhini ghat.
The same valley where is the origin of the Kundalika river famous for its white water river rafting. You will then reach a remote yet beautiful village named ‘Hirdi’. It is the only village that you will come across throughout your Andharban trek and you can arrange for food from locals here. You can stop for a refreshment break/lunch here before starting to descend towards the Konkan route to reach Bhira. This is the valley that is the origin of the Kundalika River, famous for its white-water river rafting and other adventure activities.
The second half of the trek is roughly 4-5 km and you will reach the base village in no time while trekking on a flatter surface and enjoying scenic views of the backwaters of Bhira dam.

During monsoons, this trek is one of the most refreshing treks of the Sahyadri. It is the most beautiful attraction of the Sahyadri range which connects the Tamhini Ghat to the famous Konkan region.

Trekfit team holds the right to cancel any event and refund with prior notice.
We strictly follow a no alcohol, no smoking and no litter policy. Members are requested to follow this strictly and pick up your own litter during treks.
Cancellation Policy:-
If Trek gets cancelled due to Police restrictions/any other unforeseen circumstances/natural calamity 40% of the amount will be refunded.Our trek leaders will try conducting some other nearby trek and make your weekend happy.We always try to make your weekend the best one and as per the plan but in this covid time we need to make some changes in the plan.
If you cancel the trek by your own before 24 hrs of the event ,25% will be cancellation charges.On the spot cancellation/12 hrs before the trek will not be refunded.
Once booking is done and if you cancel the trek the amount will not be refunded, but you can use the paid amount by attending any other event of trekfit adventures in the next 6 months/pass on your credit to your friend. but for this condition you need to inform us 14 hrs before the trek departure.
