Overview

Sandhan Valley is also known as Valley of Shadows (as the sun’s rays don’t reach the ravines). It is a spectacular canyon in the Sahyadri mountains. It is one of the most challenging and enjoyable treks in Sahyadri.

Located near Bhandardara near Igatpuri, Sandhan Valley offers adventure experience like no other. You don’t just trek, you rappel, rock climb, enjoy bonfires and camp under the starry sky.

Itinerary – 

Pune Itinerary :

Day 1 :

8:00pm : Pickup 1 : SB Road Jw Marriot Hotel Opposite side 
8:45pm: Pickup 2  :  Nashik Phata, Pune
Watch fireflies on the way
04:00am : Reach Samrad and enjoy beautiful sunrise.
06.00am : Have breakfast and start trek
08.00am : Rappelling activity followed by valley trek
12.30pm : Reach base and have lunch
03.00pm : Depart for Pune with loads of memories.
10.00pm : Reach Pune (Arrival timings may depend upon completion time and other weather conditions for the trek kindly keep a two hour buffer)

Important:Fireflies spotting is a natural phenomenon as per past records the ideal time to spot fireflies is from mid May to mid June incase of no fireflies visibility no refund will be provided and complaints later wont be entairtained.

Rules And Regulations
Like you know fireflies can be spotted only at the remotest destination, where there is less amount of light and pollution hence we also stay amidst the villages.
Please be ready to embrace rusticity, tented / local homes/dormitory with basic bedding facilities will be provided.( Home Stay / Dormitory would be provided incase of rains.
Stay humble for home-made food Veg,  and Jain options available.
Road conditions aren’t that great, hence bear with the bumps for a while as we travel in a local transport. Rusticity like we said.
Be prepared with rain wear and a jacket as temperature drops at night and rains are always uncertain
At our campsite there are plenty of fireflies, so enjoy blinking of these tiny bioluminescence friends and capture it in your memories and in camera.
Don’t touch or capture fireflies let them be live in their own environment, nobody likes nuisance guest.
No smoking and no drinking (if anyone found doing this activity will be separated from group and we holds no responsibility for such a person.
Trekfit Adventures  believes in No trace policy so No Littering please. Collect all garbage and carry back we will dispose it in city.
We are going to one of the remote place so don’t expect lavish facilities but yes basic needs will be taken care of…
