Mostly a descending trek which starts at an elevation of 2160 ft, the trek starts at the Pimpri Village and ends at the Bhira dam, Patnus.

The first part is a trail through thick and dense jungle. It is a treat for nature lovers with the rich flora and fauna flourishing in this region. Several species of are spotted- the chaatak, the Malabar whistling thrush, dwarf kingfishers, and minivets being the commonly seen ones. The Indian Giant Squirrel can be spotted, though rarely. The trail is marked by white ribbons tied to nearby trees at regular intervals.  It is advised you hire a guide if you’re not a frequent trekker in this region as losing your way through the confusing diversions is very probable.

The second part of the trek is full of sparkling cascades. Moments under the crystal clear waterfalls instill a refreshing energy for the rest of the trek. You need to cross a number of streams with the help of ropes, this is a different memorable experience altogether.
